Courses, training, workshops and clinics

Pushball as a sport already exists since 1902, although it does not yet have standardised (inter)national rules or training methods. In practice this means that every active Pushball nation has its own rules. In the Netherlands Pushball is played using a variety of rules. It is clear that the sport needs some form of harmonisation.
Hélène de Fremery uses the 1928 rules that she discovered in Germany and were originally written for the Italian army. She acquainted Pushball in 1982 by playing against a team from the West German Pushball competition. From then on she has been steadily building her experience both nationally and internationally. She has visited many a training and has been actively seeking contact with Pushball trainers, coaches and other enthusiasts of this sport in the Netherlands and abroad. Last but not least, the Internet has been a useful medium to build and spread her knowledge.
It is her aim to share her broad and deep knowledge of Pushball using this Website and her English based Weblog. It is very much her intention to open up Pushball to as many interested and enthusiasts as possible. Therefore, next to her website, she is very active in Pushball courses, workshops and clinics. Her large network and participation in large happenings (WC Four-in-Hand Driving, Horse Happening in Achterhoek, CHIO Rotterdam) put her in an excellent position to break in individuals that want to know more about Pushball as an equine team sport.
Have a look at her Weblog www.pushballonhorseback.blogspot.com where she invites international Pushball trainers to share training methods and game tactics, so that others could also benefit from this in their trainings. In the added paragraphs you will find specific information about trainings, workshops and clinics either on events or on demand.
